CELEBRATE AT ROCK OASIS

Rock Oasis is a great place to have a party for your child's birthday.

Suitable for ages 6 and up. Our booked parties are 2 hours in duration. Children will have access to the auto belays, top ropes and the Kidzone. The booking includes a reserved party area for food/drinks, which may be enjoyed as part of your 2 hour booking if you would like to bring food.

  • Participant Restrictions

    • Minimum 4 children, maximum 12 children (all children, including the birthday child and any siblings count as participating guests whether they are climbing or not).

    • 1 staff member is required for every 4 children, so we require a final head count at least 2 weeks prior to the party date.

    • Free admission for 2 attending adults.

    • Up to 4 additional adults may attend for a fee of $10(+hst)/adult.

    • Everyone attending (adults included) must be on the guest list.

    • All attendees require a valid waiver.

    • We do not offer kidzone only parties for kids under 6 years old.

    • We cannot accommodate drop in parties, as this is a safety issue and space in the gym is limited.

    • Please email bookings@rockoasis.com if you would like to request a booking for more than 12 children.

    Prices

    • The cost of a party is $45 per climber. Price includes harness rental.

    Deposit and Payment Details

    • $100 non-refundable deposit is required

    • Full payment will be due the Thursday before the party. After payment is made no refunds are available.

    • Cancellations are non refundable and the party may not be rescheduled if the request is made 48 hours before the scheduled event. Additionally a new deposit is required to reschedule.

      *Online booking for birthday parties closes 2 weeks before the booking date - if you would like to book something less than 2 weeks out please contact us at bookings@rockoasis.com, as we may still be able to accommodate you.

FAQ’S

  • Our birthday parties are structured to be drop off only. The booking includes free admission for 2 attending adults. Up to 4 additional adults may attend for a fee of $10(+hst)/adult. Please note, to avoid congestion in the climbing areas, only 4 adults are allowed in the main gym at a time. When there are more than 4 attending adults, they must take turns being in the main gym.

  • The host family is able to access the party space 10 minutes before the booking to set up. There will be plenty of time to continue setting up as the instructors go over rules and harnessing with the children.

  • Yes! There are several places in the area you can order pizza from. Desk staff will direct the delivery to the party area upon arrival.

    All food must be enjoyed within the 2 hour booking. No additional time can be provided.

    We are able to store small ice cream cakes in our freezer.

  • Parties of more than 12 children may only be accommodated during the following times slots;

    • Fridays 6pm - 8pm

    • Saturdays/Sundays 3:30pm - 5:30pm

  • Any children coming to the party must be on the guest list and included in the booking numbers.

  • The staff to climber ratio is 1:4. Booking for 8 children will give you 2 instructors, booking for 9 children will give you 3 instructors, with the flexibility to increase up to 12 children. We require two weeks notice to increase the booking number if it requires an additional instructor. Please book considering any flexibility you may need.

    Tables in the kid zone are reserved for youth programs and parties that have been booked in advance as these guests have paid a premium to reserve the space.
